Imagery that sells a place

A destination is more than a single property: it is the coastline, the light, the things to do and how it feels to be there. Each project is planned around what makes the place distinctive and who the images are for.

Where the images get used

Usage is scoped with the project, so you license what you need.

How a destination shoot works

01

Inquire

Tell me about the destination, the audience, your timeline and where the images will be used. I’ll reply within one business day.

02

Research & plan

We agree on locations, experiences to feature, season and timing. I handle location research, logistics and any permits, and send a clear proposal covering scope and usage.

03

Photograph & deliver

I shoot to the plan and adapt to weather and light, then deliver edited final images according to the agreed timeline.

Common questions

How is destination photography priced?

Projects are quoted individually based on the number of locations, shoot days, travel, final image count, usage and timeline. I’ll scope the project with you before sending a proposal.

What usage is included?

Website, social and marketing usage can be included depending on the project. Wider advertising, print, outdoor or campaign use can be scoped according to where the images will run.

Do you travel?

Yes. I’m based in Orange County and available throughout California and for destination projects beyond. Travel costs are scoped with the project.

How do you handle locations and logistics?

I research locations, timing and access in advance, and we agree on a shot list and schedule. Where a location needs permits or permissions, we plan for them during scoping.

How many images can I expect?

That depends on the scope. Smaller projects might be 15 to 30 final images, and multi-day or multi-location projects can be 50 or more. We settle the count when scoping.

Is the work shown here commissioned?

The images on this page are portfolio work from personal travel. I’m building a commercial destination portfolio and happy to discuss what a project for your destination would look like.
