What I photograph for golf properties

A course sells itself through a handful of images: the view from the tee, the condition of the turf, the feel of a round. Each project is planned around your property, your members or guests, and the light on your holes.

Where the images get used

Usage is scoped with the project, so you license what you need.

How a golf shoot works

01

Inquire

Tell me about the course or club, what you need to show, your timeline and where the images will be used. I’ll reply within one business day.

02

Plan

We agree on the holes and spaces to feature, the best light, and timing that works around play, maintenance and events. I’ll send a clear proposal covering scope and usage.

03

Photograph & deliver

I shoot to the plan with minimal disruption to golfers and staff, then deliver edited final images according to the agreed timeline.

Common questions

How is golf photography priced?

Projects are quoted individually based on the number of holes and spaces, shoot days, final image count, usage and timeline. I’ll scope the project with you before sending a proposal.

What usage is included?

Website, social and marketing usage can be included depending on the project. Wider advertising, print or campaign use can be scoped according to where the images will run.

How do you schedule around play?

Course photography works best in early morning or late-day light. We plan around tee sheets, maintenance and events so golfers and staff are minimally affected, with some flexibility for weather.

How many images can I expect?

That depends on the property and scope. A focused shoot might be 15 to 30 final images, and full-course or multi-day projects can be 50 or more. We settle the count when scoping.

Can you cover tournaments and member events?

Yes. Event coverage can be scoped separately or alongside a course shoot.

What golf photography experience do you have?

My golf photography has been published in the SCGA’s FORE Magazine. I’m building a commercial golf portfolio and happy to discuss what a project for your course would look like.
