Imagery for hotels and resorts

A property’s photography has to answer one question quickly: what is it like to stay here? Each shoot is planned around the spaces, guest experience and brand of the property, with a shot list agreed before the day.

Where the images get used

Usage is scoped with the project, so you license what you need.

How a hotel shoot works

01

Inquire

Tell me about the property, what you need to show, your timeline and where the images will be used. I’ll reply within one business day.

02

Plan

We agree on the shot list, shoot days, rooms and spaces to feature, and the best times of day. I’ll send a clear proposal covering scope and usage.

03

Photograph & deliver

I shoot to the plan with minimal disruption to guests and staff, then deliver edited final images according to the agreed timeline.

Common questions

How is hotel photography priced?

Projects are quoted individually based on the number of rooms and spaces, shoot days, final image count, usage and timeline. I’ll scope the project with you before sending a proposal.

What usage is included?

Website, social and marketing usage can be included depending on the project. Wider advertising, print, outdoor or campaign use can be scoped according to where the images will run.

How many images can I expect?

That depends on the property and scope. Smaller projects might be 10 to 30 final images, and larger properties or campaigns can be 50 or more. We settle the count when scoping.

How do you schedule around guests and operations?

We plan shoot days around occupancy, housekeeping and service schedules so key spaces are ready and disruption stays low. Flexible timelines help, especially for off-peak scheduling.

Do you travel?

I’m based in Orange County and available throughout California, as well as for destination hospitality projects.

Is the work shown here commissioned?

The images on this page are portfolio work from personal travel and property visits. I’m building a commercial hospitality portfolio and happy to discuss what a project for your property would look like.
